I think this is a common trait of artists. Earlier today I saw a friend's post on Facebook of one of Salvador Dali's paintings, "Living Still Life."
When I look at this large painting (49.64 in × 63.76 in), I can't help but imagine the process Dali must have gone through to create it. I literally imagine the brush in his hand as he fine tunes the crisp images! My goal is to be able to draw the viewer in this effectively, to connect this directly both physically and mentally with the viewer.
